Hello, and welcome to my blog titled, Design & Otherwise. This is a blog where my thoughts, some fully-formed and some just ramblings will live on the internet for the foreseeable future.
I grew up loving to read and write. I was a Wattpad kid…and if you know what that means, I commend you for your bravery to admit it. I remember my friends and I used to post poems and manifestos just for fun, and then share with each other the number of reads that particular post had racked up. My book simply titled, “The Boy” still sits somewhere around 1,000 reads after I abandoned the story at chapter 11 or so.
Anyways, I don’t exactly plan to treat this blog, Design & Otherwise, as my grown-up Wattpad account, but who knows, maybe I will! My goal with this publication is to talk about design, specifically Graphic Design, but also other things that interest me. Whether that’s interior design and architecture, music, a new recipe I tried the other day. Maybe I’ll write about things that are important to me, like workplace culture and good leadership, or ideas for lessening the spread of misinformation on social media.
Wherever this blog takes me, I’m excited to start writing again, and I’d be honor if you’d care to read it from time to time.
